A conversation is a completed chat in which your Gnosari agent collected data from a visitor: an enquiry, an intake, a booking, a survey response. Quick exchanges that end without a record do not count toward your limit, so a visitor who asks one question and leaves costs nothing. The count is per completed record, whichever channel the person used.

### What happens when I hit my conversation limit?

On the free plan your Gnosari agents pause until the next month begins, and every record already collected stays in your dashboard. On paid plans they keep working, and the extra conversations are billed at your plan's overage rate, shown above. Nothing is lost at the limit; a business that outgrows the free plan upgrades when it chooses.

### Do I need a credit card to start?
